Damian Holmes is a landscape architect and urban designer who lives in Shanghai, China designing cities and landscapes for local and international companies in China. With over 12 years experience designing and constructing projects in China, South Korea, Canada & Australia. Having worked as a designer and manager in China for more than 5 years, he has a great understanding of designing in China and what is needed to create a successful project. He is also currently a design consultant for key Multi-National Companies in China.
Damian understands the China’s National Standards and Central Planning System and Urban and Landscape Design trends and terminology. He also understands the differing cultures and climates across China. Most importantly he understands how to balance client expectations, design and budget
Damian has expertise in Sustainable Urban Design, Low-Carbon Cities, urban parks and plazas, ecological parks, wetland systems, mixed use developments, residential/retail/office developments.
