China Knowledge reports that Macquarie Group has slashed the prices on its City Apartment complex to 18,000RMB sq. m compared to the asking price six months ago was 24,000RMB sq. m.

China Knowledge also report that property prices have dropped 10% in Shanghai in the second half of 2008.
